Health Care Costs are Skyrocketing
The cost of health benefits for employees in Wisconsin rose 14.8% in 2002,

The average cost of a family health plan rose from $8,000 in 2002 to more than $9,000 this year and is expected to exceed $10,000 in 2004. (Washington Business Group on Health, representing 180 major corporations)
Between 2001 and 2010 workers can expect their wages to increase 38 percent; health insurance costs are expected to increase by 123 percent during that same time, unless we change the system.
