Questions About Benefits? One of the best things about having a Union is that we have the power to negotiate for better benefits from our employer. Where our benefits are set by the legislature, our Union is the best tool we have to influence those political decisions. If you have questions about specific benefits at your workplace, like health insurance, contact the Union Steward at your worksite or your Union Staff Representative.
Dental Benefit As a member of our Union, you are qualified for a members only dental benefit called DentalBlue Dentacare dental plan. If you have a signed membership card and would like more information about this plan, email Tim Barthel in our union office for an application form. Discount Vision Plan
Receive 10% to 60% discounts on prescription glasses, contact lenses, non-prescription sun glasses, eye exams and opthalmology fees and services through the Coast to Coast Discount Vision Plan. Discounted Legal Services
Members of our Union and their families are eligible for discounted legal services in a wide range of areas through our Union's law firm, Cullen Weston Pines & Bach LLP. Discounts include a free 30 minute Initial Consultation (over the phone or in person) and a 20 percent discount on the hourly rate for most additional services.
