Getting Involved In SEIU Healthcare's Legislative Effort
Promoting Jobs and Professions

SEIU Healthcare District 1199 Wisconsin members support the legislative efforts of their union as voluntary COPE contributors, as member political organizers and as volunteers. COPE is the legislative fund of the union.

Member Political Organizers help involve other union members and co-workers in the political activities of their union, make phone calls to help elect union supported candidates, sometimes knock on doors in support of SEIU endorsed candidates and help advocate to elected politicians. If you are interested in becoming a Member Political Organizer, please contact Bonnie Strauss at 608-277-1199 ext. 18 or 888-285-1199 ext. 18.

Voluntary COPE Contributors
Because Union Dues do not and can not be used to support the legislative efforts of SEIU Healthcare District 1199W, union members can sign-up to make regular contributions to fund COPE. Only union members can give to COPE. Depending upon where you work, please click the link below to print the COPE Form for your workplace to initiate COPE payroll deductions. After you complete your COPE form, please pass it to a union shop steward or mail it to the Madison Union Office for processing.
